Got this glider/recliner & ottoman combo (this model does NOT swivel) just in time for our son's return from the hospital. I'm breastfeeding and it's so nice to have a chair in his room to sit on through all the feedings. VERY NICE for a healing mother too. You can lock the gliding and reclining mechanism so you have a solid seat to get that latch right and later in the future when the feedings become second nature you can definitely recline and glide to feed. I do wish that the ottoman that comes in this combo included the pull out nursing stool but I was trying to save a little cash and just used my old $20 nursing stool and that has worked out fine. If you have the extra cash lying around, do not hesitate to upgrade but know that a nursing stool works just fine too--just adds a little more clutter to the room.I'm only 5 feet tall and 140 lb. at the moment and I fit very snugly in this chair. If you're bigger than me you might want to think about getting a wider model. There will be absolutely no room for your future toddler to sit next to you for story time, they will have to sit in your lap.I got the chair in espresso wood and sage cushions and these are very easy colors to work with--neutral--goes with everything. I have an old crib in a natural maple color and it works just fine. My original goal was to get the best chair at the lowest cost so I didn't mind that the wood and cushions did not match the colors of the other furniture in the room. Like I said, it's such a neutral colored chair that everything still comes together wonderfully.Chair is made in Canada, is a quality product, glides wonderfully and I don't see why this chair wouldn't last for many, many years.
